Tim Long earned an MBA in Hospital Administration from the University of Colorado Medical Center and currently served as Treasurer on the North Metro Fire Rescue District’s Board of Directors for 12 years having previously served on the Northglenn (Colorado) Urban Renewal Authority for 7 years as Commissioner.
Long was appointed to fill a vacancy on the City of Northglenn’s City Council serving for one year. As well, Long has served on many Boards of Directors while spending most of his professional career working in and around hospitals, physicians and healthcare administration, strategic planning and development – both in the Denver metro area as well as internationally.

Tim facilitated the procurement of Bond financing for Mountain Phoenix Community School which enabled it to purchase the property and buildings plus acquisition and construction of more classrooms and phase I of the middle school. Serving as Board of Stewards Treasurer & Member-Manager for GRADALIS Consulting & Services since 2015, he has grown in his understanding of Steiner’s Waldorf Curriculum as well as being an Anthroposophist attending First Class in the Denver area.

Tim and his wife Donna have six grown children and three granddaughters. In varying pursuits, the entire family carries a passion for the great outdoors from the Rockies to the Pacific Ocean and an appreciation for Waldorf education. They provide School Support Services for Gradalis in many capacities, including Strategic Planning, Business Plans, Board Training and Consulting services for Waldorf Schools.
