Catalina De Luna Garza

Catalina De Luna Garza, M.Ed.

Grade Three
Field Mentor

Catalina was born and raised in Mexico. She moved to the USA in 2010 with her two daughters. She has been an educator for over 30 years, 20 of those in Waldorf Schools, including Atlanta Waldorf School, as a Class Teacher as well as teaching foreign language. She earned a BA in Legal Studies and a MEd in Waldorf Education. Catalina is currently working on completing her internship to earn a degree as a Transpersonal Arts Counselor from Tobias School of Arts & Therapies in England.

While teaching in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico, she led the work that resulted in founding the board of trustees and the College of teachers for that school. For the past six years, Catalina has been involved in adult education in different modalities, coordinating and facilitating pedagogical, artistic, and Anthroposophical studies for faculty, staff, and the parent community.

This work has always been inspired by her own journey in reaching a deeper understanding of life. Her intention is to support individuals of all ages to discover and unfold their capacities in the process of human becoming, in freedom and love.

“Receive the children in reverence, educate them in love, and send them forth in freedom.”

–Rudolf Steiner
